    Patient Guide

    The purpose of your medical home is to provide your complete care. The team includes doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as well as friends, family members, and most importantly, you! As your medical home, we are here to support you. In a true medical home, you –the patient—are at the center of the healthcare system. You are the most important person when it comes to your care. Below are some important things to remember that will help your team deliver complete care.

    OFFICE HOURS: We open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and open at 8 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. If you need care outside of these hours, please call (336) 774-3740. In the event of an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

    ONLINE PATIENT PORTAL: We are proud to offer you the opportunity to enroll in MyChart, a free, online tool that allows you to remotely and securely access your personal medical information from your computer or mobile device. With MyChart, you can email your care team, request prescription refills, schedule appointments, manage your family’s records and access a library of trusted health information. Our goal is to respond to electronic communication with 2 business days. Contact us at (336) 774-3740 to find out how you can enroll in MyChart, or visit www.mynovant.org for more information.

    APPOINTMENTS: To schedule an appointment, please call (336) 774-3740 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or request it via MyChart. We will make every effort to schedule you to see your designated PCP or a member of your Care Team. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork. Please call us if you need to cancel your appointment. Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment will result in a $25 charge.

    APPOINTMENT REMINDERS: Our automated telephone reminder system will contact you 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Should you decide to cancel your appointment, we request 24 hour cancellation notice. We also provide appointment reminders via text message or if you prefer an electronic appointment reminder, MyChart will send electronic reminders.

    RETURN CALLS: It is our goal to return calls within 48 business hours. However, urgent calls will be returned as quickly as possible throughout the day.
